Transparent antena and radio over fiber

The windshield constitute an ideal position to integrate antennas requiring a front or even vertical radiation . As demonstrated at Le Bourget Airshow in 2019 in the frame of the Saphyr project it is possible to implement in the windscreen the ILS (Loc and Glide) and GPS antennas. Other antennas may be considered such as VOR and VHF antennas. We herby propose in collaboration with CISTEME, to combine the transparent antena with radio over fiber technology to provide a significant advantage in terms of mass saving and performance compared to conventional solutions based on the use of coaxial cables.
