Our proprietary radio frequency analysis tool, RA3D, is specifically designed for radomes. It enables us to simulate product performance much faster than using full-field finite element solvers, like HFSS. Faster simulations offer faster design iterations, and solutions better adapted to your evolving needs. Most importantly, we’ve validated RA3D against full-field solutions and experimental measurements to guarantee that our predictions match real product performance.
As a feature of the MAXIO software tool, FlightMap predicts the performance of a radome during a flight and allows us to optimize the design for certain type of flights. Since different types of flights (e.g., high latitude, transatlantic, equatorial) benefit from different solutions, the FlightMap feature can be customized according to customer needs, ranging from broad to specific solutions. It allows us to improve radome performance by considering specific use cases. We can also use it to better understand how a radome tailored for one application (e.g., high latitude flights) will perform in other scenarios.
