Antirain coatings consist in transparency treatments that enable passive water removal under gravity forces on ground and aerodynamic forces in flight. Saint-Gobain has now 30years of experience on these coatings and is developping new generations of solutions for both glass and plastics. Antirain coating can be used as complement or in substitution of wipers (improved aerodynamics, unlocks wipibility on complex shapes, improved performance under heavy rain).
Different solutions for glass or plastics, either oriented toward ease of regeneration or duration of the function. Includes some low chemical footprint solutions (PFAS Free)
