C-Glass Staple fiber products have a higher surface area that is ideal as a filtration medium for gas, dust and aerosols. Vetrotex manufactures a wide range of staple fibers ranging from 7 µm to 25 µm, perfect for use as filtration medium for mist elimination process.
Vetrotex’s 11 µm twisted staple fibers made of C Glass offers a greater surface area for liquid filtration. Ideally designed for filtration medium in string wound cartridge filters used in aggressive chemical environment and high temperature applications.
E-Glass Textile Chopped Strands from SG Vetrotex are also used for HEPA filters for cleaned rooms and hospitals thanks to its high aspect ratio and dispersability performances in wet-laid process.
