Transparencies
We manufacture and design windows for helicopters with the capability to stretch raw material into complex and tailored glass shapes while maintaining high optical quality. Our design capabilities include glass, stretched acrylic and flat or curved glazing, clear or tinted features and heating systems. We have on-the-shelf products available and the expertise to customize products based on customer requirements.
Radomes
Nose Radomes for helicopters are crucial for the weather radar and are even more so as they increasingly require millimeter wave technology for synthetic vision systems. At Saint-Gobain Aerospace, we have the engineering capability to design and develop highly multifunction nose Radomes with effective radar performance. Our major design capability includes specially-formulated paint to protect the helicopter radar system and nose Radome from harsh weather conditions and abrasive particles, ensuring pilot and mission safety.
